Enrollment Information for Nenahnezad Community School

Enrolling your child at Nenahnezad Community School is a straightforward process, but there are a few essential points to consider:

Parent/Guardian Presence

Please ensure that a parent or legal guardian accompanies the student during enrollment.

Required Documents

  • Immunization Records:  Up-to-date immunization records are necessary.
  • Proof of Native American Heritage:  Native American or Alaska Native students must provide a Certificate of Indian Blood or relevant proof of Indian status.
  • Documentation of Identity:  Bring the student's birth certificate or any document establishing guardianship or parentage.

Counseling Sessions

Students under suspension or involved in disciplinary proceedings at another school, those previously expelled for criminal offenses and/or violent behavior, and those seeking re-enrollment after violating the school’s substance abuse policy must participate in documented counseling sessions.

Transcripts and Test Data

Ensure you have all current transcripts (including grades, credits and attendance) and test data (State and EL) ready.

Out-of-Boundary Waiver

Obtain approval from the school board if your residence is outside the attendance boundaries.

Transfer Students

Enrollment for transfer students should be completed within the first 10 days of the fall or spring semester, subject to administrative approval.

Space Availability

Students not enrolled in the previous semester will be considered based on available space within their proposed schedule/grade.

Medical Disclosure

Please inform the principal and registrar of any known medical issues, including food allergies, for proper coordination and support.
