Safety and Emergencies
Nenahnezad Community School, in partnership with the BIE, has adopted the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) developed by the I Love You Guys Foundation. Read about the standard response to emergencies here. At the bottom of the page are the basic procedures we will follow in an emergency or a situation that is out of the ordinary. We will communicate to parents through text messing via the one call app. Please keep your phone numbers up-to-date with the office. If you are not receiving regular messages from the school, please contact us to update your information.
The school has also partnered with Sandy Hook Promise to prevent violence and support safety in our school and community. The students have been trained in the act of being an "upstander" and reporting dangerous situations to a trusted adult or via the anonymous reporting system.

Help keep our school safe. If you are aware of any potential threat or student in distress, use the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS) by Sandy Hook Promise to submit a tip 24/7. Your report is completely confidential and could save a life.
Three Ways to Report (Which our students are trained on)
- Online: Submit a tip via the Say Something Website.
- Mobile App: Download the "Say Something" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Phone: Call the 24/7 Crisis Center at 1-844-5-SAYNOW.
